WIP finished!

I thought it was about time I finish this work in progress from about 5 years ago. It was my first time doing half square triangles and I'd placed them into a pixelated heart. It was a bit of a labour of love for my daughter. They're her favourite colours.

Christmas stars

I'm looking forward to Christmas already, I just love it. I've already seen a Christmas film advertised that I'm lining up to watch at the end of October - I'll wait until then at least. I've been wanting to do teeny weeny hexagons for a long time. They were a bit fiddly but I love doing them. I have to say hexagons are truly a wonderful addiction for me!

Stained glass mini quilt inspiration

Here's my inspiration for my stained glass mini quilts. I started to learn how to do stained glass during the first lockdown. It's one of the trickiest things I've ever learnt, but also very rewarding. This and other things that I try give me ideas and inspiration for pattern designs. I'm very much a newbie when it comes to stained glass and I love it but I always think that I will probably default to all things fabric and quilty!
