You will need: 

• 20" x 24" piece of black cotton fabric (sufficient for all black squares)
• Fabric strips of cotton fabric in 11 colours for grid work
• 29" x 31" piece of black cotton fabric for back panel
• 2 x border and 2 x binding strips
• 2 x 5" black cotton fabric squares for wall hanging (optional)Piece of wadding (approx 29" x 31")
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Colour coordinating sewing thread
• Basic sewing kit - including needle, pins, sharp scissors
• Optional - fabric glue NOTE: The fabric and notion requirements above are to make the striking black version of this quilt ( all base fabric is black) but you can of course use a different base colour fabric for example in white as I have detailed in the pics above. The choice is yours!
