WIP finished!

I thought it was about time I finish this work in progress from about 5 years ago. It was my first time doing half square triangles and I'd placed them into a pixelated heart. It was a bit of a labour of love for my daughter. They're her favourite colours.

I didn't realise at the time that my triangles go in random directions but I quite like the effect. I was determined to finish it this year and thoroughly enjoyed the quilting. I've still not done too much free motion quilting and used just a simple stipple design but I really got into the swing of it  and hopefully these skills are increasing.

This picture was taken the day before Valentine's day and I'm pleased to say that my daughter loves it! I think you can never tell your daughter enough times how special they are to you - hopefully this will remind her of that.
